There is a lot of hatred all around the World. There does not seem to be an end to violence, wars, and persecution.
As CHRISTMAS approaches and as we anticipate the birth of the Baby JESUS, we are reminded that HE was born in a lowly stable. The Son of God, the King of Kings, came into the world, not as a royal baby complete with trumpets blaring in majestic fanfare, but as a peaceful Infant bringing to the world Forgiveness, Love, and Eternal Joy in HIS Kingdom.
“There is no power stronger than gentleness of heart,” continues Pinky in the song. In this world full of anger, bitterness, and vengeance, the Message of JESUS is “Peace on Earth and Good Will to men.”
We should not allow ourselves to be herded into hatred. We can be kind towards those around us every day.
We can turn anger into benevolence.
As Pinky further writes, “Beneath the water’s hand the rock will turn to sand….Oh, LORD, the night is long, the dawn can not be far when gentle winds of Peace fill every heart”.
Let us fill our hearts with HOPE and Prayer. That GOD will prevail over Evil. Let us begin with ourselves.
