TERESITA TANSECO-CRUZ
XI. JESUS IS NAILED TO THE CROSS
Lord, grant me the grace to take the piercing stabs of my struggles and sufferings unflinchingly. My life is in your hands. Instill in me fearless trust so that I am not an anxious, stressed-out disciple but a humble, contented one in your company, never perfect but determined to stay in your team, led by your mother.
XII. JESUS DIES ON THE CROSS
Lord, grant me the grace of dying to myself each day so that the path I walk with you is strewn with the continuous shedding of my ego until the day you bring me home to the Father, re-molded as the loving, humble child He created me to be.
XIII. JESUS IS TAKEN DOWN FROM THE CROSS
Lord, grant me the grace to live my life in your loving and merciful company, and when I breathe my last may I rest peacefully in your mother’s arms, and may you find in your mercy that I had taken seriously what you had said: love one another as I have loved you.
XIV. JESUS IS LAID IN THE TOMB
Lord, grant me the grace to look for you, not in the tomb but to daily find you in others… to participate fully in the gift of creation, redemption, and LIFE in you and in the joyful FREEDOM from any attachments that hinder my life with you. Use me and all that you have given me so I may live a glorious Easter life.
