This remarkable school draws inspiration from the extraordinary lives of two amazing people, my parents, Norberto “Boy” and Evelyn Nazareno. Their unwavering dedication to developing people and compassion for the less fortunate has left an indelible mark on the world.
It has been one year, two months, two weeks, and two days…since we lost you, Mommy.
One year, five months, three weeks, and three days since we said goodbye to Pappy. Even on your deathbed on May 7, 2022 – 9 days before you passed away, you requested to join the Meeting De Avance rally in Makati, and two days after that, you went to the precinct to vote (May 9).
Your combined courage to fight for what is right and serve the marginalized has inspired a wave of an impact in Alon Akademie. Boy and Evelyn were not just life partners; they were kindred spirits that complemented those who believed in the power of education to transform lives. Their experiences, struggles, and triumphs forged an unshakable belief in the potential of every individual, regardless of their background. Armed with this passion, they dreamed of creating Alon Akademie, a school that would not only nurture academic excellence but also foster compassion and empathy.
The Journey Begins
The ripples of change that have inspired the waves of transformation have become a reality. In 2022, the Alon Akademie team was formally created. This educational dream is built on the principles of inclusivity, community engagement, and the pursuit of self-driven learning that inspires an entrepreneurial mindset for children.
