When everything in one’s life breaks down, one can choose to either die because of fear or live because of faith. Or one can choose to be indifferent and pretend to go on with life as if nothing happened.
It will never be the same again after going through a crisis, especially if they come one after another.—death, sickness, isolation.
Today after listening to the homily, I remember the favorite song of my mother, “The Impossible Dream,” and the comment of Fr Stein during moments of uncertainty – “O ye of little faith.”
I do believe we never come out the same in crisis. What we do after defines us. Crisis demands radical reorientation, paradigm shift, and transcendence.
I thank God for all the blessings – Paraiso, family, and friends.
