This coming election 2022 it is important to find a candidate who bears our goals and dreams. After all, whose future is it but ours? It is our world…

Let those words echo in your mind… Our. World. That means Our Lifetime. That means NOW.

I did not create the sun that shines in the sky. I didn’t create the tree that has grown from seeds. I didn’t create the Earth, life, and all that comes with it. Obviously, God did that.

And as I stand in grateful awe of his powers, I think as any child of God will do. Would I make him proud?

Choosing a life that might make him proud calls us here and now to select and help towards victory the candidate who will lead us and the Philippines to a future worthy of our creator. Hopefully, we can look back years from now and see how our votes counted and our choices mattered. The results belong to God; the humble effort is ours.

PRAYER FOR THE 2022 PHILIPPINE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

We implore you, Lord Jesus, to give our Filipino nation a chance to rise up from our misery and suffering and to cope with the pandemic crisis.  Give us, through the coming election, a leader who will take care not of one’s self but of the poor and the needy, one who is God-fearing, who cannot be undermined by greedy, corrupt, and hypocritical politicians. 

Save our nation, which is thirsty for your love and justice.  Through the help of Mother Mary, our mother, and yours.  Amen.
